My Elder Sammy is loving his mission in Perth Australia!! He is so thankful to be there amongst the great people there! He's been given some great companions so far who have been great teachers for him in many ways...but mostly the Spirit of the Lord is teaching and guiding him along...He's also been given the opportunity to share the beautiful message of the Reflections of Christ. He has given a fireside with the slide show of the photos that Mark Mabry, took of the Savior's life and was able to share his testimony of how it impacted his life in helping Mark with this incredible project. He said he's excited and humbled to be able to help take this fireside throughout the mission...the high councilman over the fireside is trying to get it approved to have Sam do this fireside all throughout WA (Western Australia). So Elder Sammy is very excited for this and told us he'll tell us more about it on our Mother's Day Talk...only in one week!! I'm so excited to talk to both my missionary sons! :)
I love how he calls me, "Mum" now! He says, "heaps" a lot too...and "how are you going?" (for 'how's it going?') ha ha He's definitely getting the Down Under lingo down!
MISSIONARY WORK IS THE GREATEST!! I LOVE HAVING MISSIONARY SONS!!
