Today's course was very "hilly" and slightly short...it was a 3.08 mile course, so 2 tenths off of a 'true' 5K...so about 10 seconds would need to be added..her time was 18:22.7...4 tenths off the 2nd place girl! Last week she ran the 2.9 K race in 18:27...so quite an improvement over last week...and it should only get better now...since she hasn't even "peaked" yet! All those many miles of 60-70 mile weeks this summer are paying off for her!! Yey!!! :) Oh, yes...Grandma Larson was able to come today! It was so fun to have her there "crocheting" and cheering, just like old days when I would run...knowing my mom was there, always calmed me down! Thanks, Grandma, we're so glad you are here with us in AZ now! :)

Tell Ann congrats! We are so happy for her. It was so fun spending a little time with her this summer. She is a great girl!
