Yes! Our baby is GRADUATING!! It seems unreal...but it's really happening...we are becoming EMPTY NESTERS!! Ann is going to stay living at home...and grandma is here and Jacob is here, kinda...when he sleeps! ha But it's nice to have our children becoming all adults and responsible for their own lives more...it's a good feeling. But being a mother and father will always be a great and awesome responsibility...even when they leave and go out on their own.
Ann has chosen a college to attend...Mesa Community College!! She feels really good about her decision to run with this team and Coach Condon...so this is a huge step for her and she is looking forward to next Cross Country season already, and training with collegiate athletes...she already has a good friend on the team, Hailey...so that makes it even more fun!
She is looking forward to the next few races of track season and then of course, Graduation! She also was asked to the Prom, which is this Saturday...so she is excited to be with a bunch of friends and dress in a beautiful gown and "go to the Ball" :) (I'll get a picture posted of that later)
Kenny and I are very please with our daughter, Ann, and are grateful for the great young woman she has become and the dedication and determination she has shown not only in running, but her commitment to living a Christlike life as well. We are very blessed to have her for our daughter.
