Yep! Can you believe our baby is in college!! This picture of her in the kitchen is her 'first day' of college...it was a loooonnnnggg week for her...she had all her classes dropped the first day (registration problems because of some complications with the scholarship!), she fought the
She's still living her at home and works for a respite care agency, she takes a young girl in our ward that has Down Syndrome, Trina, out on outings or stays at home with her so her parents can take time out. It's perfect for Ann and she and Trina have always had a bond, so it's fun for them both! She also still has her two piano students, Ellie and Maddi...and loves teaching them piano.
As far as the race on Friday...it was held down in Tucson at a golf course. She ran a fabulous race! She took 2nd place on her team, around 31st overall and ran the 5 K in 18:52! Kenny and I got our workout too, running from one point to another cheering her on...and there were some pretty steep hills! ha We're looking forward to seeing her run most of her meets this season, Nationals are back in Illionois, so we probably won't be able to make it to that one...but we'll look forward to the ones we can see.

Lis, I honestly cannot believe Annie is gone to her own nest- how fast life goes and how wonderful for you to know that she is a responsible strong and beautiful woman. Kuddos to all of you and best wishes to Ann she is a doll and will continue to grow and hope she loves it as much as I did.
