Summer is almost over....Thank HEAVENS!! =)

As I start a new school year and say GOOD-BYE to the summer break...I am both happy and sad....I love the freedom of summer months and the fun family times...but also look forward to having a schedule and mostly of having our weather COOL DOWN!!

I'm especially looking forward to fall so my ELDER JAKEY BY will be home!!! Can't wait....I miss his humor, his spirit, his love, his example of Christ-like living and serving, and just his positive happy life! I WILL MISS HIS LETTERS THOUGH....for they have been such a TREAT to me!! His growth and his commitment to our Savior and His Kingdom is amazing and has been such a BLESSING to watch and be a part of these last TWO YEARS of him serving in LOUISIANA on his mission....

So here's a few pics of my FULL SUMMER BREAK...tending Kaden/Ally/Tai Tai 2-3 days a week, our family had some fun FISHIN' TRIPS, New Grandbabies coming to our family...two came while Grama was gone =(...but Grama survived...a trip to see my sis, Misty and her family and Great Larson...and Kenny and I's S&I (Seminary and Institute) outing to the PIONEER TRAILS WORKSHOP was SIMPLY OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! I WILL BE FOREVER THANKFUL FOR SUCH A BLESSING TO BE A PART OF THAT AMAZING TRIP!! Life changing for me in many ways...and now we are reading from the book, "THE PRICE WE PAID"--an account of the Martin and Willie Handcart Pioneers, by Andrew Olsen every morning for a half hour...and wow! has that been a great experience for us as a couple...to read their hardships and trials they faced all along that long journey...from England/Scotland/Ireland to Salt Lake City...it is teaching me to stop complaining of my small trials...and BE GRATEFUL AND KEEP PUSHING MY HANDCART!

My trip back to Virginia to see the Foxley Family and my mom was a highlight as well for me!! I loved being in their home and feeling all their great spirits and love...they are all so wonderful...I loved seeing some fun sites with them as well...like all the DC museums and sites near the Capital, Monticello--Thomas Jefferson's home, and of course, my favorite...the DC Temple...and was so happy to be there with my dear sister and mom!

Love you all and so grateful you are each in my life..may your life be filled with wonderful times of growth along this Trail as well... =) xoxoxo
