KEEP THE TEN IN 2010! This was our theme for our vacation and the T-shirts Jacob made for the family vacation this year up at Flagstaff in the COOL mountains at Clyde's Ranch!
When we left Mesa Thursday afternoon (July 8th) it was a hot 111, and when we reached the ranch in the mountains above Flagstaff it was a beautiful 73 degrees, plus, it rained that evening and smelled so good! We haven't seen rain in the valley for at least 3 or 4 months! So it was very refreshing and relaxing!
So here's some of the highlights...all were there, except of course our missionary, Sammy Juan...and even grandma and grandpa Bawden came!
*Desert Golf games *Annie I Over game *Mormon Bride--card game that we all love to play---and guess who scored a PERFECT SCORE?? YEP, ME!! I was all distracted by the grandkids, so this is definitely a game of no skill!! ha ha)
*Horseshoes *T-shirts made by Jake...Tee Time Designs(his new T-shirt business!) *Quad-Riding *TOY STORY 3 Movie at the theater with "candy popcorn"!! *Sunday Church Meeting--just out on the front porch of the cabin, it was so beautiful to have everyone's comments and a wonderful spirit was felt! *Hauling buckets of water to "flush" the toilets! (Yep, the water pump was not working!) *The two littlest grandbabies screaming in the night and keeping their mommy and daddy's from sleeping...and a few of us! ha *Great food!! (German pancakes, Roo's Poo--baked Ziti, Grandma's famous dilly buns, and of course homemade ice-cream and candy popcorn! yummy!!!
We are so thankful to be a family...and as we Keep the Ten Commandments and strive harder to be the best we can be, I know we will have NO EMPTY SEATS in the hereafter.
